Goudelock and the 3 Bears supports authors and creators from a diversity of backgrounds in telling their stories. Whether you write books, play music, or work with other types of media, we want to help you bring your dream to life.
At this time, Goudelock offers services including author support as well as book design, production, and promotion. We also partner with schools and libraries by providing access to children’s books and media that represent all children! If your school, library or bookstore is based in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia or the tri-state area, you may qualify to receive a copy of our flagship book, The Adventures of Maxine and Beanie.

If you’re an artist or author who wants to see more diversity in children’s literature, look no further for a publishing partner that respects your creative process and celebrates your multicultural truth. We’ll provide you with all the resources you need to publish and promote your work. Meanwhile, you’ll maintain full creative control—that’s the Goudelock and the 3 Bears advantage.
Book production with us includes conscious editing, layout and design, indexing and more, so you can put your best work out into the world. Promotion services include public relations, author websites, coaching and more.

Who are we?
Goudelock and the 3 Bears is a small, woman owned, POC-founded press that focuses on books, music, and literature for children that authentically represent their families’ diversity. Our authors themselves come from a diversity of backgrounds and situations, and tell stories that represent and empower female protagonists, children of color, and other people from traditionally underrepresented communities. We know there’s a need for more diversity in children’s literature, and we help make it happen.
